KIC Seeks Volunteers For Great American Cleanup

Several community cleanup events slated across Islip Town throughout April.

As the calendar has turned from March to April, Keep Islip Clean will host a variety of Great American Cleanup events across the township that will allow local residents to play a part in improving the environment.

According to KIC officials, more than 2,500 residents volunteered last spring and removed litter and large debris throughout the 18 hamlets of Islip. Many of these volunteers joined KIC’s established annual Earth Day cleanups.

The following are a list of cleanup events that will be held across Islip Town beginning next weekend.
