Open Mic Night and business safety seminar are among the "5 Things" every Bayport-Blue Point resident should know Tuesday, July 26.
1. Assemblyman Al Graf is holding an informational seminar at at noon today during which he will discuss how business owners can keep their business and employees safe in light of the recent shootings and robberies. We'll have coverage of the event later this week.
2. Tomorrow marks the first class in a four-session creative writing workshop at . Each session of this workshop will focus on a different writing genre: fiction, poetry and creative non-fiction. Registration required, please call 363-6133.
