How Do We Keep Sayville and Bayport Kids Safe on Halloween?

Join our open Family Room blog and have your thoughts, advice and opinions heard.

Halloween is just around the corner, and while the costumes and candy do make it one of the funnest times of the year for area kids, it doesn’t come without its share of parental stress.

The bottom line: How do we keep our kids safe? Most kids will go door to door trick-or-treating (so a few might make mischief with shaving cream and toilet paper – not the worst thing). We’d love to know what parents tell their kids ahead of Halloween, and what guidelines they set on where kids go and what they do.

Our Family Room blog hopes to be the place where parents can share their thoughts on issues like Halloween safety, or to share any advice on building strong local families.
