The local home where President George Washington once visited is selling for about $1.4M.

West Sayville's 'The Green House,' where President George Washington famously stayed in 1786, is on the market for just under $1.4 million.

The homestead, at 93 Main Street, is described as perfect for an owner occupant or investor and offers the chance to own a piece of unique community history.
