Help Make the Holidays Brighter for Sandy-Hit Family

Bayport couple aims to help Lindenhurst teen who lost everything in the super storm.

A Bayport couple is hoping to make the holidays a bit brighter for a Lindenhurst family hit hard and still recovering from super storm Sandy.

One of the family members is a teenager who is hoping to get a laptop or i-Pad as he's a big music lover and wants to stay in touch with family and friends, said the couple who asked to remain anonymous.

"If you have a laptop computer or an i-Pad that you are no longer using, please consider donating it to help," states a note from the couple.

The Lindenhurst family lost everything as a result of Sandy. The teen's bedroom was hit paticularly hard. Everything is gone: furniture, TV, home computer, laptop.

"A donation of a gently used laptop computer or iPad would make a world of difference to a boy who enjoys music and staying in contact with his friends," said the Bayport couple hoping to help.
