Little League Picnic/Chinese Auction

Where/When: Bayport Commons; June 18, noon-4 p.m.

Why Go: There will be fun for everyone: Food, music, face painting, bouncer, slide and obstacle course for the children. 

Pricing: Tickets, including the map of which gardens to visit, can be purchased at , , and for $20.

Moving Sale

Where/When: 123 Bay Avenue, Bayport (just south of Middle Road); June 17, 18, 19, ( a.m.-3 p.m.

Why Go: Indoor and outdoor furniture, tools, ride-on lawn mower, camping equipment, fishing items, pet carriers, and more will be on sale.

Brooklyn Museum/Garden Trip

Where/When: ; June 18, 7:30 a.m.

Why Go: Spend the day exploring some of Brooklyn's finest cultural amenities. The day begins with a visit to the Brooklyn Botanic Garden where we'll have free time to explore its horticultural treasures at our own pace. Next is lunch at Junior's restaurant, after which we'll enjoy a guided tour of the Brooklyn Museum of Art and its world-class collection of art from all periods. Moderate walking is involved.

Pricing: A fee of $81 is due at in-person registration at least one week prior to the trip. All welcome although there are limited openings.

Garden Tour

Where/When: June 18, noon-4 p.m.

Why Go: This biennial garden tour organized by The Neighbors and Gardeners of Bayport-Blue Point will bring you to seven local gardens to enjoy. There will be raffle prizes and refreshments while visiting one of the gardens.

Pricing: Tickets can be purchased for $20 at Make Someone Happy, Bayport Flower Houses, Daisy Garden and Country Junque.

Lobsterpalooza

Where/When: , 86 West Ave, West Sayville; June 17, 6 p.m.-9 p.m.

Why Go: What better way to enjoy all-you-can-eat lobsters, clams and mussels than outdoors, on the Great South Bay? Heaping plates of seafood and corn will be consumed at this picnic under the stars.
