Get a Jump on Fall Planting With B-BP Library Program

Got a plant issue or just want to know what's best to do in the garden as Fall arrives?

Gardners, new and experienced, have an opportunity to find out about fall foliage and planting insight at a special program at the Bayport-Blue Point Library Monday night.

The free program, which starts at 7 p.m., is focused on planting or transplanting trees, shrubs, spring bulbs, mums and fall blooming perennials.

Gardener John Schlechter will be on hand to discuss these topics and more. There will be a troubleshooting session after the main lecture, so bring in small samples of ailing plants or clear pictures of problem areas in the garden.
