Gardners, new and experienced, have an opportunity to find out about fall foliage and planting insight at a special program at the Bayport-Blue Point Library Monday night.
The free program, which starts at 7 p.m., is focused on planting or transplanting trees, shrubs, spring bulbs, mums and fall blooming perennials.
Gardener John Schlechter will be on hand to discuss these topics and more. There will be a troubleshooting session after the main lecture, so bring in small samples of ailing plants or clear pictures of problem areas in the garden.
