The donation effort was a collaborative project kicked off by Candance Golio, owner of Sweet Frog, and Stacy Antos, a Sayville resident. Within hours of putting out the news the frozen yogurt store has collected a large amount of donations but doesn't have the ability to do the distribution.

Anyone from a rescue organization or community group helping residents can stop by Sweet Frog before 6 p.m. or call Sweet Frog for more information at 516-817-1071.
