Don't Miss: Sayville Rotary Beefsteak Fundraiser Thursday

The annual Rotary Club of Sayville's Beefsteak fundraiser takes place Thursday, August 8 at the Long Island Maritime Museum imn West Sayivlle.

Tickets for the charity event are $70 in advance, $75 at the door and all proceeds go to charitable organizations and endeavors.

The event, which has been held annually since 1952, is the largest fundraiser of the year for the club, with almost all of the proceeds going toward its community programs. They include: The Sayville Food Pantry; Camp Pa-qua-tuck; Hospice Programs; Relay for Life; Splashes of Hope; The Gift of Life Program; The Rotary Foundation; Foreign Student Exchange; The Long Island Maritime Museum and more.

The admission fee includes cold beer, clams, filet Mignon, corn on the cob, sliced tomatoes. The cocktail hour, of cold beer and clams, starts at 5 p.m. and dinner kicks off at 6:30 p.m. For information call 589-5100.
