Celebrating St. Patrick's Day in Bayport-Blue Point

There are numerous St. Patrick's Day-related activities going on in the area this weekend and throughout next week. Below, Patch has given you a list of 10 ways to feel a little lucky this season.

1. Join the for their annual Night of Luck this Saturday, March 12, at 7 p.m. This event takes place on the eve of the St. Patrick's Day Parade and has FREE admission from 7 p.m.-8 p.m. $5 per person after 8 p.m.

2. Stories and Songs of Ireland at . On March 14 at 7 p.m., head to the library for their Celtic program. Jim Hawkins takes themes from Irish history, culture and traditions and combines with a story and a song.

3. On St. Patty's Day, children K-5 can celebrate the holiday at the library by making Pot of Gold Cupcakes with a baking coach. Begins at 4 p.m. 

4. Young Adults can make Shamrock Boxes at the library on March 16 from 4 p.m.-5 p.m. Create, design and paint your own shamrocks on the boxes that you can keep or share. The library's March Take-Home-Craft is an Irish Charm Necklace. Teens can ask for the craft at the reference desk.

6. St. Patrick's Day deal: FREE corned beef from noon-4 p.m. or when 300 pounds are done! The restaurant also features a special dinner menu starting at 3 p.m.

8. The Blarney Stoners will perform at on St. Patrick's Day at 6 p.m.

10. At on South Ocean Avenue in Patchogue, you can get a FREE corned beef sandwich with purchase of wine/beer on St. Patrick's Day. Irish music celebration begins at 6 p.m.
