The annual 5K Buddy Race took place Saturday morning in Bayport and shuttered Middle Road from St. Ann's Church in Sayville into Bayport and Suydam Lane to car traffic starting about 7:45 am til about 9 am. The race benefits the veterans at 9-1-1 Veterans.
