Local residents looking to celebrate summer 2013 in a big way can visit The Brookhaven Fair as it returns to the Pennysaver Amphitheater at Bald Hill in Farmingville starting May 24.
The Fair is presented by Strates Shows, the last carnival traveling by train and midway provider for the New York State Fair for more than 50 years. Featured will be a number of rides including the Wave Swinger, Giant Wheel and Swing Tower.
Also returning is the Lance Gifford Magic and Illusion Show. The award-winning act has spectacular stage illusions and magical feats. New at the fair this year will be the Las Vegas style Hypnotist Show. On Friday and Saturday nights, fair goers will be astounded as crowds are put into deep sleep and made to perform incredible feats.
The fair runs from May 24 to May 27, June 1 to 2 and June 7 to 9. The fair opens Friday with a special admission price of $1.
