B-BP Library Debuts New Digital Magazine Service

The Bayport-Blue Point Library is pleased to announce the launch of a new digital magazine service called Zinio.

“Our Library patrons now will be able to read full digital copies of their favorite magazines on a computer, tablet or mobile device using the free Zinio Reader app,” explained Mike Firestone, director, Bayport-Blue Point Library. “We currently offer more than 50 magazine titles to choose from.”

Zinio magazines may be read on a wide variety of desktop and mobile apps, including PC, Mac, iPhone, iPad, Android, Nook HD/HD+, Kindle Fire/Fire HD, Windows 8 and Blackberry Playbook.

To get started with Zinio, users will have to install the free Zinio Reader App, which can be downloaded from your device’s app store. Then you can visit the Bayport-Blue Point Library’s website to create a FREE Library Zinio Collection account to browse the many magazines that are available for you to read online or on your mobile device.

“We invite you to go to the website or to visit the Library to learn how you can create your personal Zinio account and begin using this new, free service,” stated Firestone.
