Bayport-Blue Point Library Hosting Megan's Law Presentation
Prevention program Wednesday at 10 a.m.
The Bayport-Blue Point Library is hosting a program Wednesday morning for parents and caregivers on sexual abuse prevention.
The "Apple of my Eye" program runs from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and is courtesy of Parents for Megan's Law. This workshop teaches participants specific skills and techniques needed to protect themselves and children from sexual abuse and abduction. Learn the 10 Prevention Tips, 11 Red Flags, and 27 Tricks abusers use to access children. This adult workshop will assist parents in developing the skills they need to protect themselves and their children.
