Blue Point Native's First CD Makes For a Perfect Stocking Stuffer

If you can get to Houdek's Liquor store today you can even get it autographed.

With under 12 hours until Christmas the last minute shopping rush is on. But a great gift is easy to get as Travis McKeveny's first CD is available at Houdek's Liquor store in Bayport.

And if you can get there before the store closes tonight you might just be able to get it personally autographed as McKeveny is behind the counter helping to handle the extremely busy crowd of shoppers.

The Blue Point resident appears often at Bayport's Grey Horse Tavern and his literate and carefully wrought songs “balance storytelling with poetry,” in the words of vaunted upstate New York folksinger Fred Gillen, Jr., placing him “in the tradition of the great ballad singers.” He has opened for such nationally touring acts as Bobby Bare, Jr.;  Todd Sheaffer, of Railroad Earth Fame; and Chuck Prophet, formerly of Green on Red.

It's a drive-through bank.

I heard it was a bank some time ago, but I can't imagine which bank would run a construction projectRead More so poorly.
