Aug. 4: Actor Q&A at the Library Tonight

1. Cool off in the library and get a special screening of the indie film: "Lbs" (2004) at 6 p.m.  It tells the story of Neil Perota, a 315 pound man who decides to kick his food addiction by moving to the country. Carmine Famiglietti, the film's main actor, producer and writer will be on hand for a special Q & A session following the film. Registration is required.

2. Today marks the first in a series of four Senior Flex classes at the Bayport-Blue Point Library, 10 a.m. Join in on an excercise program designed specifically for the less agile and beneficial to those who suffer from arthritis. A fee of 10 dollars is due at an in-person registration.

3. B-BP's Class of 1981 grads traveled from as far as California to attend their 30-year high school reunion. We'll have coverage on Patch later today.
