Aug. 18: Senior Flex at Library, Weekend Planner on Patch Today

1. Today marks the second in a series of four Arthritis Foundation Senior Flex classes at the library. These classes consist of an excercise program designed specifically for the less agile and beneficial to those who suffer from arthritis. A fee of $10 is due at an in-person registration.

2. Know this today, for tomorrow: Friday is the last day to register for the Bayport-Blue Point Chamber of Commerce Cruise from the Captree Docks on Aug. 26 from 7 p.m.-10 p.m. RSVP to Laura by Aug. 19 by phone at 363-5794 or by email at president@bayportbluepoint.com.

4. Garage sale frequenters should know there's one happening Friday and Saturday, 9 a.m.-2 p.m., at 191 Gerritsen Avenue in Bayport. Items for sale in the following categories: Automotive, gardening, small kitchen appliances and accessories, housewares, fabric, yarn, knitting needles, camping, Americana items.
