Aug. 1: Chamber Hosts Vinny Perri Golf Tournament

1. The Vinny Perri Scholarship Committee and the Bayport-Blue Point Chamber of Commerce have joined together to host the Vinny Perri Golf Tournament at the Rock Hill Country Club in Manorville. The event starts with breakfast and registration at 6:30 a.m. followed by a Shotgun Start at 7:30am. At the end of the great 18 hole round will be the signature Lobster Dinner with awards, raffles and prizes.
2. Attend the airing of the movie Inside Job, starring Matt Damon, at 1 p.m. today at the Bayport-Blue Point Library.

3. Check out a lecture at 7 p.m. by curator Isaac Gewirtz, who oversees the Mark Twain: A Skeptic's Progress exhibit at the Morgan Library. The lecture will cover the life and work of Mark Twain. Register online, in person or by phone before the date of the event.
