April 8: Community Cleanup, Little League Parade and Art Exhibit

With sports, art, a parade, community cleanup and a blues performance scheduled, it's another busy weekend in Bayport-Blue Point April 7-10. Check out what's on the local agenda.

1. Cheer on the Bayport-Blue Point girls golf team when they face off against Patchogue-Medford High for a home match at 3:30 p.m.

2. Support local young artists by viewing their work at the BAFFA High School Art Exhibit any time between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. Runs Fri-Sun.

3.It's that time time year- Little League Season, that is. The Opening Day Parade for the Bayport-Blue Point LL will commence at 9 a.m. Saturday, with a rain date of Sunday, April 10.

4. The  Ecology Club and the South Shore Community Organization, with supplies provided by Keep Islip Clean and Keep Brookhaven Beautiful, will be sponsoring their annual community cleanup day on Sunday. Supplies are available for individual, family and group "clean ups" in the North parking lot of the high school 10 a.m.- 2 p.m.
