Paul Taylor and Kariout Films presents The Wind that Scatters

One of Patchogue’s residents, Paul Taylor, just completed another independent film as the film’s Director of Photography. The trailer for the film, “The Winds that Scatter”, directed by Christopher Jason Bell, has recently been released and is expected to screen in 2014.

Paul Taylor, a graduate of C.W. Post, began his education at the Holy Angels School in Patchogue.  Although only 25 years old, his career as a filmmaker is moving rapidly. “In Memoriam” and “Cohesion”, both written and directed by Mr. Taylor, have garnered awards and accolades, playing at festivals throughout the country and overseas.

Kariout Films, his production company, consists of a trio of filmmakers, including Christopher Jason Bell and Alex Megaro.  These young and talented men are inspirations to the youth in our communities.  Hard work and perseverance have certainly put them on the path to success. These rising stars are indicative of the talent and dedication to the art and craft of independent filmmaking.  We wish them much success and look forward to seeing their future creations.
