Intruder Alert DRILL at Sayville High School

A NOTICE TO ALL RESIDENTS

On SATURDAY, March 29, Suffolk County Police Department, along with Sayville School District Administrators, will be conducting an “Intruder Alert Drill” as training to establish proper practices in the unlikely event of an emergency or crisis.

THIS DRILL IS SCHEDULED FROM 4 A.M. TO NOON.

What you may notice:
• A large police presence that will include law enforcement personnel and vehicles, tactical units, and emergency response teams on the Sayville High School grounds during this training interval;
• Sirens and other “Intruder Alert Drill” sounds may be heard in the surrounding area;
• The public is NOT allowed on the premises during the drill;
• Roads in the surrounding area will remain open for normal traffic.
