SUNation Solar Systems Will Present Educational Solar Program to Girl Scout Summer Campers at Camp Edey, Bayport

WHAT:                      
As part of its Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (STEM) initiative, Girl Scouts of Suffolk County has partnered with SUNation Solar Systems in bringing a hands-on approach to learning about solar energy and its effects on daily life.

The program will be presented to day campers at Girl Scouts of Suffolk County’s summer camp, and participants will receive an exclusive solar energy patch.

“We are delighted to partner with SUNation Solar Systems in this worthwhile endeavor,” says Yvonne Grant, President & CEO of Girl Scouts of Suffolk County. “More than ever, it is important for our youth to learn about creating a sustainable environment, and to explore the benefits of alternate energy sources.”
