In honor of 9/11 several programs are being held today and tonight:

Common Ground Moonlight Memorial Service for 9/11
7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Attendees are encourage to bring chairs.

NORTH SHORE
The Three Village community is invited to honor those who were lost in the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks at its annual candlelight vigil at the Setauket Fire Department's 9/11 memorial at Station 3 on Nicolls Road.
The vigil is set for 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
In addition to area memorial services a special blood drive is being held as well:
Sayville Fire Department Blood Drive
2 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Fire House on North Main Street in Sayville.
