The Tuesday Agenda: Pasta Night, Library Programs & Job Search Resources

Today's a great day to register for local library events.

The official summer-ending weekend is behind us and now it's just under a week til school starts but there's still plenty of fun things to do, explore and learn about between Blue Point and West Sayville.

Here is what's happening around town Tuesday, Sept. 3:

If you haven't been done to your local library it's a good day to visit and check out what programs are running in September and October and register before the classes and programs are filled. Both libraries' newsletters are online for viewing. For Sayville click here, for B-BP click here.

The Bayport-Blue Point Library offers more than just great programs, as does Sayville Library. One fun thing to do is check out its collection of school district yearbooks that are online and date back to 1945.

The Community Bridge club meets today at the Sayville Library at 6:45 p.m. in meeting room C.

For those embarking a job search the Sayville Library offers a slew of resources online. Click here to check them out.

And treat your self and the family to an inexpensive but great meal at Blackbird's in Sayville. Tuesday night is Pasta Night with entrees starting under $10.
