Yes, we're halfway to the weekend and before that fun starts there is plenty to do and enjoy between now and Friday.

Here's a look at programs and events between Blue Point and Sayville on Wednesday, Sept. 17:

Deeper Into Meditation
John Bednarik, a long-time meditator, will lead this helpful and stimulating two-part meditation.

Feng Shui Your Home Workshop
Get ready to roll up your sleeves and get down to work!

Get ready to roll up your sleeves and get down to work! Maureen will provide some basic principles of feng shui and how it can be applied to your unique home! Each participant will review their floor plan for energy flow and balance of yin and yang energy. In addition, each participant will receive a copy of the Feng Shui Bagua Map and learn how to apply it to their home! Bring a copy of your floor plan (you can draw one up simply before you arrive). Storytime for 4’s and 5’s

Children from 48 months through the 59th month without a caregiver. This story time, which is meant for children only, will help them along the road to independence by briefly separating them from their parents in a safe and friendly environment. 

Keep It Simple, Art for Kids I

Grades K-2. 
Join Mrs. Ahearn and create a Pop Art style with bottle caps. 

Wednesday is Hero Night 
Brick Oven Pizza, on Snedecor Avenue in Bayport
Between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. diners can buy two heros and get a small house or caesar salad for $11.99. Choices are meatball, sausage, chicken or eggplant (and they can be parmed if wanted).
