Hump Day Roundup: 2 Healthy Activities & Programs for the Kids

Yes we're halfway through the week with just five days to go before the official start of school in the Bayport-Blue Point and Sayville school districts.

To help you make the most of the last week of summer Patch offers up a short list events and things to do on Wednesday, Sept. 4.


Blood Pressure Screenings
2 p.m.
Sayville Library 


Yoga Levels I and II
7 p.m. 
Bayport-Blue Point Library
Both yoga beginners and the more advanced are welcome to attend this class. Instructor Diane Aronsen will tailor this class to suit all skill levels. Fee: $10 payable by check only.


Reading Dog Is Back
Bayport-Blue Point Library
Every Thursday at 10 a.m.
Children in first through fifth grade can sign up to read with the Reading Dog. The goal for this program is to encourage children to love books and become enthusiastic about reading.
