Harvest Dinner Demo, Sandy Workshop, Islip ZBA on Tap Tuesday

Also don't miss a great Halloween-theme breakfast event.

Baby, it's getting a bit nippy outside this week. As Patch's weather guru Scott P. Moore reported yesterday, temps are going down this week and even falling lower in the evening so bundle up and trade those flip flops for a warmer footwear option.

But changing weather is just one of many things happening between Blue Point and West Sayville this week.

If you work in or near Sayville, have some fun at lunch by strolling Main and checking out the great window paintings Sayville students created for Halloween. If you can't get out or don't work close enough for a quick jaunt, check out Patch's gallery of photos.

That's just one fun thing to do. Here is a look at programs and meetings happening today, Tues. Oct. 24:

MEETINGS

There is a Town of Islip Zoning Board of Appeals meeting at 6:30 p.m. at Islip Town Hall.
