In Case You Missed It

Sayville's favorite hardware store, Brinkmann's is asking Islip planning officials for a rezoning on three lots on Railroad Avenue as they're hoping to build a new store twice the size of the current operation at the corner of Foster Avenue and Montauk Highway.

There's an official Target banner now hanging from one of the several walls of the store build in progress on Broadway Avenue and Sunrise Highway but Target still won't officially comment on the new location.

The Sayville High School Art Club is having its great annual Empty Bowls fundraiser Friday night. Get soup, salad and a handmade bowl for $10 and all proceeds go to the Greater Sayville Food Pantry.
