Corruption is back in Islip Town. Interesting how the RINO's (republican in name only) haveRead Moreapproved shady public property sales to developers and friends, approved the development of the Islip Pines mini city in Holbrook against the will of the people and managed to raise town taxes 28% in 2012 and 11% in 2013. Where is the outrage? These 4 council people have been running in 4 different directions. Croci is away. Before he left for the military, he fired Trish Bergin as Deputy supervisor because he knew she sell the furniture on his office to balance the budget. Steve Flotteton wants to run for Suffolk County Comptroller. OMG! Anthony Senph wants to move up also. After voting to raise town taxes 40%, he wants to be our NYS Senator and raise taxes statewide! Do you really think they give a crisp about the mess the contractor left in from of your house?

The current Town board would clearly love to turn our part of Suffolk into another Nassau County.Read MoreUn fortunately, when that happens- they and their developer 'friends' will be long gone! The over development of Islip Town will be their legacy.

5 months ago (around election time) I received this reply from one of the Islip Town Board members. Read MoreI wonder how much it cost to change his mind? Dear Mr. and Mrs........, I have reviewed your email in regards to the Islip Pines Project. This has been a project that I have been monitoring since I have taken office. I am a supporter of small businesses in our downtowns. I also believe in the right of a businessman to develop his property. However, I am not in support of this project. This project is too aggressive of a development. What upsets me the most about this project is the negative impact it would have on traffic in the area; an area that is already congested. I appreciate your views on this matter and hope that you continue your campaign in opposition to this project. Regards, John C. Cochrane Jr. Councilman

What, no other flights available out of Islip Airport? - Oh that's right, there are no flights from Read MoreIslip Airport. They did a real bang up job of making it look like an airport, they just haven't figured out what would get people to use it.
